Friday Night Welcome Reception

Catch up with all your old friends at the welcome cocktail party, held at the new Lea County Event Center (map) from 6:00 to 9:00pm! Food will be sub sandwiches, chips, sodas, and more. Cash bar will be available. Also, plan to meet up with the gang later at the new Black Gold Casino (map). Babysitting will be available (details coming soon).

Saturday Lunchtime Pool Party

Experience the delight of Hobbs’ own home-grown water park, Del Norte Pool (map), with beach volleyball, waterslides, and pavilion. Bring the kids for this fun family time, from 10:00am until 2:00pm. Lunch will be catered by Pizza Inn and is included in your reunion fee. Pool entrance fee must be paid separately and is $2/person, adult or child.

Saturday Afternoon High School Tour

Take some time to reminisce and see the exciting additions and renovations to the Hobbs High School campus (map). Tour time is  3:00 to 4:30pm. Kids are welcome.

Saturday Night Dinner & Dance

Enjoy a relaxing evening dining on prime rib, shrimp, and other delicious fare at the Hobbs Country Club (map). Cocktail hour begins at 6:30pm, and the class photo will be taken at 7:30pm. Dinner begins at 8:00pm. Entertainment includes piano music, DJ, dance, prizes, and, of course, lively conversation! Babysitting will be available (details coming soon).

Sunday Morning Farewell Breakfast

Say goodbye to the gang with an informal Dutch-treat breakfast at the North Forty Cafe (map) on Bender, beginning at 9:00am! Kids are welcome.

Memory CD

Each classmate attending will receive a memory CD with information on your fellow classmates, as well as photos taken during the reunion. If you have photos you’d like to include, please email them to us.

 

Class & Group Photos

A professional class photo will be taken at 6:30pm Saturday at the Country Club, Individual photo opportunities with friends will also be available. Photos will be delivered that evening. Cost is $20 for 8x10; $10 for 5x7.

Dress Code

Dress for the Saturday evening event is semi-formal. All other gatherings are casual.

Babysitting

Babysitting services will be offered for the Friday evening and Saturday evening events, provided by the youth group and adult volunteers of First Baptist Church (map). Kids may be dropped off and picked up at the church.

The fee is $15.00 per child per evening, and includes a meal and snacks. There will be different rooms for different age groups, and cribs available for small children.

Services will be available:

  • Friday evening: 5:45 pm–12:30 am
  • Saturday evening: 6:15 pm–12:30 am

Reservations are required! If you need childcare, you must contact Beckey Jamison Waldrop at 505.392.6508 no later than Wednesday, June 15. Please inform her of the number of children, their ages, and the night(s) you will need babysitting.

Registration Deadline

All registrations via web or mail must be received by Friday, June 10. After that date, you can still register/pay onsite at the event if you wish.

Cancellation Policy

We regret that we are unable to accept cancellations after Friday, June 3. For cancellations received before that date, check payments will be refunded in full. PayPal payments will receive a full refund minus a small PayPal transaction fee.
